The Stanislaus River and the surrounding Forks are excellent opportunities to catch big fish or lots of little ones. The Middle Fork of the Stanislaus is home to some very large brown trout and the Clarks Fork and Clavey Rivers offer great small-water opportunities. A group campsite has been arranged by the trip leader near Pinecrest Lake. Other accommodations (cabin rental, motel) can be arranged separately if desired among participants. This outing has water for anglers of all skill levels however excellent hiking and wading skills are required.
