DVFF Conservation Opportunities

Trout in the Classroom

Below are the current opportunities for DVFF members to volunteer and participate in conservation events and programs. Where possible, the listed opportunity will contain a link to more detailed information. If you have a volunteer opportunity that you'd like the club to know about, please contact the Conservation Chair. (NOTE: Conservation is also one of the categories needed to achieve DVFF's Golden Trout Award.)

Walnut Creek Clean Up: This annual event is scheduled for a Saturday morning in early May at Civic Park. We endeavor to remove debris and invasive plants from the section of Walnut Creek near the park, and have fun at the same time. Bring your family (but not small children), gloves, and be prepared to get a little muddy. Breakfast provided by sponsors. Watch for sign-up sheet at club meetings.

If you need additional information about any of these outings, contact the conservation chair.
