DVFF’s annual Crab Feed is the Crown Jewel of our social functions, with the evening serving as a gathering of club members, an opportunity to reconnect with old friends, and a time to recognize volunteers of the past year and those who will serve in the coming year. We also recognize that one member who made the type of extraordinary contributions that have made the DVFF the vibrant club that it is today.

The evening typically starts at 5:00 p.m. with a social hour and a chance to view and purchase tickets for items available in the “bucket raffle” and to bid in the silent auction. Seating for the dinner starts promptly at 7 p.m., which includes garlic bread, salad, pasta, and cracked crab, with wine, beer and soft drinks included in the price of admission. When dessert is served it’s time to get out raffle tickets as the drawing begins.

The evening concludes with the club president reviewing the club’s accomplishments of the past year and hopes for the future and an introduction of the incoming officers and board members.

This is the DVFF’s main social event every year, one not to be missed.
