The Truckee River and the Little Truckee are a quick drive from the Bay Area and can offer some amazing fishing in early Fall.  A group campsite at nearby Proser Lake has been arranged by the trip leader.  Other accommodations (cabin rental, hotel) can be arranged separately if desired among participants.  This is a great outing for beginners however good wading ability is needed.
