Guided Lower Sacramento Float Trip

I have worked with Andrew Harris from Confluence Outfitters to reserve 4 boats for two days on the Lower Sacramento River. This is a 2 days trips for 8 people staying in the town of Redding October 10 and 11.
The Lower Sac in Redding is one of California's most productive trout streams. Early November is a great time of year on the Lower Sac. Trout are actively feeding on a mix of nymphs and salmon eggs. There are also steelhead present and anglers can target them on the lower floats of the river. With 5 different floats to choose from each day, you can easily fish two days and not see the same stretch of river twice. Average fish are in the 14" range and fall is a great time to connect with an 18" or larger wild rainbow trout.
This fish-out includes two days of guided fishing with the Confluence Outfitters guide staff. Take advantage of Confluence's corporate rate at the Gaia, Oxford Suites, or Sheraton or book your accommodation at any of the other hotels in the Redding/Anderson area. Your guides will pick you up and drop you off at your hotel each day.
Anglers of all skill levels are welcome. The Lower Sac is a great place to learn basic indicator nymphing skills and learn how to play and land big wild trout. Your guide will help you learn the skills you need to be successful on this fishery. Each guide is paired up with two anglers each day.
The guide fee for the two-day trip is $575 per person. All participants must have a California freshwater license plus a steelhead catch report card. Please use the DVFF outings page to sign-up. 50% deposit will be required at the time of sign-up but paid directly to Confluence Outfitters.
Please sign-up before paying Confluence Outfitters.
