This outing is open to all skill levels but is especially helpful for those new to nymphing. Reservations have been made at Camp 4 Group Campground and we will reserve sites at Fowler’s Campground when available.
An optional education session will be held on Saturday morning (at Camp 4 or Fowler’s) followed by on-the-water practice and instruction at Fowler’s Campground for the remainder of Saturday. We'll review and practice skills in technique (leader construction, casting, drifting, hookset, and landing fish), tactics (matching the hatch, drift adjustments, reading water, and strategy) and safety (wading, common injuries, and safety devices). For the other days, you’re welcome to practice however and wherever you’d like – there will be plenty of people in our group to fish with and the Upper and Lower McCloud should be fishing very well. You do not need to be present Thurs-Sun, come up or leave as you'd like.
When:
Thursday, October 20, 2022, 8:00 AM until Sunday, October 23, 2022, 5:00 PM
