This on the water clinic for Fly Fishing Fundamental students will target small creeks in the Lake Almanor area.  Mentors will be on hand to help FFF grads put their new knowledge to work.  This outing will include
  • Bug sampling and fly matching on the North Fork of the Feather River at the city park in Chester.
  • Coached fishing on several small creeks including Hamilton Branch, NF of the Feather, Butt Valley Creek, Deer Creek and possibly Mill Creek.
  • Participants are invited to join the evening Almanor Hex outing but should sign up for that outing separately. The Hex outing requires a water craft.
Cost of lodging at the resort will be approximately $140/person for three nights – meals not included.

Registration Deadline:  April 21, 2020

Registration Fee:  If you would like to stay in a cabin at Plumas Pines Resort with other club members, a $70 deposit is required when you register.  A deposit is not required for those planning to secure their own accommodations at a motel or nearby public campground.
