Mokelumne Clinic: If you’re newer to fly fishing or just want to improve your skills on the water, this trip is for you! Join a full one-day clinic with expert guide Captain Mark Pinto to learn about rigging, knots, reading water, effective fishing strategies, fly selection, wading safety, casting and all things fly fishing on the Mokelumne River. Mark has fished these waters his whole life and guided for more than 40 years. The Mokelumne is one of the most accessible waters to the Bay Area (less than 2 hours away!) and has a great location with easy access for the group to spread out and wade. You’ll get on-site preparation through Mark’s demonstrations and one-on-one time with Mark on the water during a full day of guided fishing clinic. This is a great opportunity to improve your confidence and set you up for success on your next outing! There’s camping or accommodation nearby if you want to stay on for another day to practice your new-found skills.
