McCloud Restoration Project
About this event
DVFF Member Scott Harrison is leading a large conservation effort to improve and update the campsites and bathrooms at Ah Di Nah Campground on the McCloud River. This is the favorite water of many DVFF members and we're proud to partake in this joint effort between the Forestry Service, Wintu Tribe, and other, local fly clubs.
There will be three days— Day 1: arrival, orientation/safety debrief, and prep work; Day 2: full work day; Day 3: half day of work and departure (or stay and fish!). Two breakfasts and two dinners will be provided—bring your own lunch fixings. There will be time in the afternoon/evening for relaxing, fishing, and gathering around the campfire, playing music, and getting to know your fellow volunteers.
