A non-refundable $20 fee applies toward the cost of the outing. Cancellations that result in the club losing money will not receive a refund.
SMALL CREEKS PORTION
This part of the outing will target small creeks in the Lake Almanor area during the morning and early afternoon of each day. Participants must be self-sufficient fishers and we expect all to be paired with a buddy…
coaches will not be provided as is standard with Fly Fishing Fundamentals seminars. Alan Christian will present a Fish Talk covering the region on Monday, June 2 at 7:30 PM. The local small creeks include Hamilton Branch, NF of the Feather, Butt Valley Creek, Deer Creek, Mill Creek and Warner Creek.
Each participant will need to secure and pay for his/her own lodging and meals. Those wanting to stay at the Plumas Pines Resort are urged to contact the resort ASAP because space is limited. The Best Western Rose Quarts Inn in downtown Chester is an excellent spot, too. Several will camp at one of the campgrounds on the west shore. Demand is high and reservations should be made ASAP.
Lake Almanor Portion
We will be staying at Plumas Pines Resort or accommodations in the Chester area.
