Los Vaqueros Reservoir has healthy populations of trout as well as striped and largemouth bass. March is an excellent month to target both.
For this outing, you can arrive very early around 6am to get in line before they open at 7am and ensure you can reserve a boat. Bank anglers can arrive anytime. For more information on fishing at Los Vaqueros and their boat rental program, visit
