The Stanislaus River and the surrounding Forks are excellent opportunities to catch big fish or lots of little ones. The Middle Fork of the Stanislaus is home to some very large brown trout and the Clarks Fork and Clavey Rivers offer great small-water opportunities. Camping/housing will be arranged among participants and this outing has water for anglers of all skill levels.

This outing does require physical dexterity and a sustainable amount of stamina. This trip will require some hiking, negotiating currents and uneven surfaces. If you tire after a long day of hiking over moderate terrain this trip is not for you. Outing leader has final say on who participates and if you sign-up and the outing leader and you decide this is not the right trip you will be refunded your sign-up fee.
