This is a single day of fishing on the Lower Yuba on the UC Davis property. 

PLEASE SIGN UP FOR ONLY ONE OF THE AVAILABLE DAYS FOR THIS OUTING. Each day will be limited to 10 fishers, plus outing host; this allows a total of 20 people to enjoy this outing.

River access is generally easy, as is the wading, but the upper river section requires somewhat aggressive hiking and wading. Early Spring can bring great fishing to the Yuba, especially if the March Brown’s and Skwalas come off, but nymphing always produces fish and possibly Steelhead. You will need to have a Steelhead card in addition to your standard inland fishing license.

The access gate will be opened at 9 a.m. and we need to be off the property by 4 p.m. There is a covered pavilion with picnic tables overlooking the water that provides a pleasant place to eat your lunch.
