The Stillwater Academy starts with 21 online instructional videos originally produced in the summer of 2020 by Phil Rowley and Jodan Oelrich. Both live in western Canada and are expert stillwater fly fishermen and instructors. Topics include:
Academy members will receive two one-hour video links each week for about 10 weeks. You can watch them anytime that week. The links will be in an unlisted YouTube format that you may keep for future personal reference. Regular, live Zoom sessions for Q&A and comments will be scheduled. Phil and Jordan may join the live Zoom sessions on occasion. The cost for the Stillwater Academy is $100, which includes access to the instructional videos, notes that track the video sessions, and access to the on-the-water instruction and fishing events. Payment can be made online or, if necessary, by check made out the Diablo Valley Fly Fishing Club. Payment must be received prior to 11/7/2022 to participate.
