Float n’ Fly fishing at Berryessa

If you are interested in fly fishing for Bass fishing or crappie using the float n fly method, then this trip is for you! Enjoy some springtime fishing on Lake Berryessa with guide Ryan Williams. The Delta Bass Bugs team will also be on site with Float n Fly leaders, bobbers and flies for purchase. This outing will be great intro to bass fishing on our local lakes.
Price is $61 per person.
For this outing you will need a personal watercraft, float tubes or pontoon boat. Ryan will be there in his boat.
The outing will likely take place in a marina cove like Markley Cove Resort. 5mph zone in Markely Cove as well as just past there can be really good for Crappie and Bass.
The Delta Bass Bugs team will be there withe flies, leaders and bobbers for purchase but they will not supply rods reels or fly lines.
For float n fly I would recommend a 6wt and a floating line. Any WF floating line will do but I like the indicator lines since they are designed for throwing heavy rigs. A 9’6” or 10’ rod can be good too but is not necessary, a 9’ will work just fine.
Personal flotation devices (BDF) are mandatory for this outing.
