Please arrive at 6:30 am and be ready to go by 6:45 am! LCO will have rods and reels rigged and ready for you. If you have a saltwater rod (7-9wt) let me know, or contact LCO directly, and they can have a reel with the right line on it. The quicker we get on the water in the morning the better from a fish catching standpoint. We'll finish the clinic between 11am and noon depending on how the day is going.

SURF FISHING SAFETY will be addressed in this outing!

Everyone is expected to bring some sort of face covering !

What you must bring to participate:

2021 CA Fishing License
Sunglasses
It can be a little chilly so you may want to wear waders. If you wear waders you MUST have a wading belt.
Water bottle
Snacks
A small backpack is nice to have as you shed layers and to hold all your snacks.

Dress and Apparel: As an alternative to waders on warmer days, most people wear wool leggings or Kayaker's wetsuit bottoms under shorts, puffy jackets, rain jackets, and maybe even a beanie as the day usually starts out at about 55 degrees. As the sun rises it can warm up quickly so you will want to dress in layers.
